LASH CARE
USAGE AND CARE
Are my Lady Kong lashes really reusable?
Yes they are! Our lashes are made to last much longer than traditional synthetic lashes. However, how much you can really get out of your lashes is solely dependent on how you treat them.
I am new to fake lashes. Is it hard to apply lashes?
It isn't hard at all once you get the hang of it! We have tested our lashes among first-timers. All of them got the hang of it after a few tries. Eventually, it will only take 3-5 minutes to apply your Lady Kong lashes.
How do I remove my Lady Kong lashes?
You can use some makeup-remover on a cotton swab (Q-tip) and gently dab it along the lash line to dissolve the glue. Use tweezers or your fingers to gently peel off the lash strip. However, avoid makeup-removers that contain oil or alcohol, because frequent usage can dissolve the glue that is used to hold the individual mink hairs at the lash band.
Do I trim my Lady Kong lashes?
To make sure your lashes are the right size for you, it is very important to trim your lashes before you start wearing them. Place your Lady Kong lashes right above your natural lash line and measure your lashes before you trim them. We recommend having your lashes slightly shorter than your own natural lash line. This will prevent the band from poking and irritating the inner corners of your eyes. Also remember to always trim from the outer end of the lash to preserve the style of the lash. Note that it's best to try trimming for the FIRST TIME on an inexpensive synthetic lash rather than a mink lash. We HIGHLY ADVISE that only those who are experienced with wearing lashes attempt trimming. We are not responsible for trimming mistakes. Sorry!
Can I sleep with my Lady Kong lashes?
The short answer is NO. Wearing your lashes to bed is STRONGLY DISCOURAGED. Mink hair lashes are very delicate and should be handled with care. Sleeping with your lashes can damage the strip lashes and potentially injure your eyes.
Can I use mascara on my Lady Kong lashes?
Using mascara or any other make-up product with your lashes is not recommended. Mascara might contain chemicals that can ruin the quality of mink hair.
If you are aiming for a more dramatic look, we would rather recommend you to use mascara on your own natural lashes before you apply to your Lady Kong lashes. Alternatively, you can choose a more dramatic Lady Kong lash style from one of our collections.
Can I use my eyelash curler on my Lady Kong lashes?
Yes, you can curl your lashes. Our lashes are made of real mink hair and just like your natural eye lashes they can be curled. Do note that our lashes already have a beautiful curl, so you don’t need to curl them yourself.
Can I swim while wearing my Lady Kong lashes?
Swimming with your lashes is STRONGLY advised against. Mink hair lashes are extremely delicate and soaking them will ruin their curl and design. Please remove your lashes before you go for a swim and make sure you store them in their original casing for future use.
